We cannot guarantee a specific date, as our new member waves will only come during certain periods of time in our plot if we have slots open. (3/4)
01.08.2025 05:06 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Once we have sent out server invites to these accepted members, posts will go up on our social media to announce that all messages have been sent. QUESTION: If at all possible, when you send out notices to the people who got into the group, could you also put out a notice on the blog? Just so people who didn't get in aren't left in limbo. ANSWER: Hi anon! As mentioned in the last portion of our member application, we do intend to make an announcement on all our social media pages (including this blog) confirming that we've sent out invites. We're currently aiming to make our final decisions before next Sunday, so keep an eye out for it next week! β Mod Saber
30.07.2025 21:24 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0QUESTION: On activity and schedules: if one works a full time job on evenings and expects to spend the evening of one of their days off away from a computer, would this leave too little free time to recommend applying? ANSWER: You won't be expected to be on every day; we understand and respect that most of our memberbase (and moderation staff, for that matter) have jobs and other important things to do outside of roleplay. The level of activity needed is one that ensures you're consistently meeting the needs of your pair partner and the people you thread with. While there will be some real-time and limited-time elements in the roleplay, you'll be welcome to utilize liquid time in most threads/DMs/etc, so you can reply at your leisure. If that means most of your replies come in the mornings/afternoons or are every other day, that's okay! We would mainly express concern over activity if you do very little roleplay every month and/or are rarely able to be contacted for roleplay matters. By saying we're a high-commitment group, we're looking mainly for reliability and a willingness to engage. β Mod Saber
25.07.2025 23:37 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Hi f/ans! This is our second to last reminder that our member application will be closing in a week, on the 31st of this month.
As an additional major update to our documents, we now have free to use application templates on Google Docs and Notion. See them on our Forms page!
QUESTION: With the new announcement, does that mean that apps definitely won't be cut to the 24th? ANSWER: Correct. With the amount of applications we currently have and the rate at which we're receiving new ones, we're comfortable going through with having applications remain open for the rest of the month. β Mod Saber
18.07.2025 22:01 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0QUESTION: I plan to apply with an OC, and I wanted to know if I need art for them. I'm a poor artist and also poor in funds, so I don't really have the skill to draw my character or pay someone else to draw them. Is it okay to use either faceclaims or dollmakers? ANSWER: At most you'll need to have an icon for your character's in-person Tupper profile. It's up to you whether you want to add art or images to their application or not, and can add a written description of their appearance in the extras section instead. We do allow dollmakers (like Picrew) as long as the creator of the dollmaker is credited somewhere on your app. You can use games with character creators (like The Sims) to make a visual representation as well. Faceclaims are also allowed. We currently don't have strict rules on them, as they aren't required. All we ask is that you don't have your faceclaim be a character that's been applied to the group or is on the banlist. Since we don't have a ban on live-action media, you can real-life faceclaims as well; just be sensible with them (like only using people in the public eye and no controversial figures). β Mod Saber

16.07.2025 22:06 β π 1 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0QUESTION: If you cap sabers and/or berserkers, do you plan to uncap them if/when people are allowed additional characters? I ask because I got really attached to my back up concept and was wondering if I should move her up to be my main choice, but I don't want to completely throw away my original concept.
ANSWER: If we do decide to allow people additional characters, we would uncap them. Class caps will be based less on a specific number and more us feeling things out by seeing how many of the other classes we have in play. That being said, there is no guarantee that we will increase our muse cap above 2. We know that when people have less characters, the more energy and time they can spend developing, playing, and creating relationships with each individual muse instead of being tasked with spreading that activity across multiple. Not to mention logistical concerns with processing and how doubling the participant count may alter the Holy Grail War. In addition, if you have a specific character you absolutely want to play as a servant but feel that they only work as a Saber/Berserker due to their canon skillset, know that we'd be happy to help you figure out ways they can flex to a different class if we need to place a cap. In f/an, we'll allow people to modify their servant's capabilities from canon or give them entirely new ones that would be in line with their character. For example, if your character has a sword but is also capable of casting magic on the side, their magic could be expanded on to make them into a Caster. Or perhaps your character has a projectile attack such as an energy beam or thrown weapon, and could be tweaked to favor these ranged attacks and make them an Archer. You can also modify them into a different class to place emphasis on backstory or personality. A servant could also be summoned as an Archer to symbolize how they're emotionally distancing themself from other people, or a servant with a past of being a hitman or hunter could become more underhanded/sneaky and made into an Assassin. Feel free to discuss with the mod team to come up with 'weird' and non-standard class assignments for your character, whether it's due to a cap or because you want to play around with certain aspects of them. β Mod Saber
12.07.2025 00:49 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0QUESTION: Can I send you guys a few ideas I have for characters? ANSWER: Hi there! Any ideas you have should go as the three character concepts on your member application. It's okay to have extras in the back of your mind, but please do not submit more than three. We'll only be doing extensive character consultation with approved members once the server opens, so you can share them then if you're accepted. Still, we're happy to answer specific mechanics/lore related questions here or in private and can clarify things as needed. β Mod Saber

11.07.2025 17:37 β π 3 π 2 π¬ 0 π 0QUESTION: Hi is the member application the same as the muse application? Or are they diferent? ANSWER: Hi! The member application is different. As mentioned on the member app, you only have to explain 1-3 character concepts so we can get a feel for what you'd bring to the table and be interested in exploring in the group. For our muse application, you can find that on our forms page. You are not expected to fill out a muse app when applying to the group. We want the character creation process to be very hands-on with the moderation team, so we intend to do that with accepted members once they get into the server. If you'd like to get a head start on app making, consider it a first draft that is liable to change, should you be accepted. β Mod Saber

09.07.2025 19:54 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0QUESTION: Would it be alright to get a general idea of how many applicants there have been? ANSWER: Hey anon! No worries. While we'd prefer to not release the exact number of applications publicly, I can say that we currently have less than 30 submitted member apps. Regardless of the number of apps, we invite anyone interested to take a shot at applying! We're not a first-come first-serve group, and as mentioned in a previous ask, our selection process will remain the same regardless of how many apps we receive. β Mod Saber

We'd love to see more proposals for the other five classes going forward! Currently, we're especially lacking in Archer and Lancer proposals.
Hello, f/ans! Over our first few days of open applications, a large amount of our servant proposals have been in the Berserker and Saber classes.
Since we will have to place a limit on these if we feel they are dominating the roleplay, we ask that any prospective members have a backup option -
QUESTION: Can we bring in a servant close to one already made in canon? ANSWER: As long as it doesn't violate anything in our blacklist, we'd be happy to discuss with accepted members if they have similar idea to an existing servant in our server during the application process. For now, you can just include them as a potential concept on your member app. β Mod Saber
03.07.2025 23:14 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0QUESTION: Will the number of submissions you get effect the number of people who get into the group? For example, if you get 15 submissions out of the potential 30, are you likely to take all 15 if they meet minimum requirement, or are you planning to only pick a percentage regardless? ANSWER: Regardless of how many applications we receive, we will make our final decisions based on quality and compatibility with our group's goals. We're prioritizing a careful selection of our memberbase over filling as many slots as possible. β Mod Saber

02.07.2025 19:22 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0QUESTION: hello, Sorry for the question, but what does the "canon point" mean on the application form? ANSWER: No worries, anon! A 'canon point' is the place in the story that you are taking the character from. This is mainly relevant to canon characters (including custom protagonists) and fandom OCs since it denotes where in the timeline they're from. Most roleplayers use act/chapter/episode/installment/expansion/patch/route names to designate this, but you can also list it as 'immediately after (major event)' or 'post-ending' if your story lacks these indicators. This means you don't have to take them from the end or most recent material; if you wanted, you could take your muse from an earlier point in their history. For example, if I was roleplaying a character from Final Fantasy XIV, I could make them post-Dawntrail (the most recent expansion) or take them from an earlier point in time, such as the middle of Endwalker (the previous expansion). If you are applying as a fandomless original character, the 'canon point' is generally irrelevant, as they aren't from a published work. You can leave it as N/A (not applicable) or name the most recent event in their story. β Mod Saber
