Yknow like maybe the allerian stronghold normally catches demonic activity since they sit right on the edge of shadowmoon valley and can act as sort of a buffer for the rest of outland but when they just fuck off back to azeroth the maghar become kind of stretched

(You could even have this be worse off as a result of the alliance forces, high elves, draenei etc, pulling away from Outland leaving the Maghar alone against a thrashing Legion civil war which prompts more faction animosity)
