This one feels like it was dragged up from the 1970s!

Generated headline quote by Allister Heath - "Why the arrogant elite's obsession with GMBuses will backfire spectacularly" includes little picture of the man himself, like a real opinion piece.

Meh... why not! 😂

It sounds better doing that than having to see "Olivia Deansgate" as a station name 🙄😒

Not to put too much of a dampner on things but the Oxford Road signs must have been up atleast 12 month now 😬 apologies 🙏

Photo shows a platform name board at Manchester Deansgate station but instead of "Deansgate" in black Rail Alphabet 2, it reads "Olivia Deansgate" apparently in tribute to an artist called Olivia Dean who is performing at the Brit awards in the City. The text is on a white background plank with a red double arrow logo.

Erm.... 🙄 and yes, they've done every one...

Really hoping those grey bits were a clerical error 😕

Yellow stripe here and no stripe at Victoria with a much larger "Hexabee" and small "Bee Network" underneath... Nothing quite like a guiding mind for clarity 🙄

You're probably right with that actually, I was so put off by it, I forgot about the Bee logo! Still, why can't they do it all at once?

Photo shows one of the platform name boards at Salford Crescent, originally just reading "Salford Crescent" in black text centred on a white background, now somebody has decided to bung a red "double arrow" symbol before the text, making the sign look somewhat off centre.

Another fail... Salford Crescents new third platform had its new signs put up the other week. All in RA2 ofcourse. The platform planks had no double arrows. Well, someone must have thought they looked abit bare, they've all been done like this... @doublearrow64.bsky.social @thebeautyoftransport.com

Quite, definetly not a great one. We shall have to see but I always view GBR as people with great ideas being over-ridden by Govt. busy bodies with no ideas bar draping a flag over everything 😕

Actually... you might be onto sth with that but... surely a red lozenge with white double arrow would be better and more universal than a shed full of colours everywhere? 🤔

And I honestly thought this had gone in the bin... Looks like the double arrow and the Channel 4 logo spawned a child! 😂😂

Not just racist and facist but frightened of women because they make people like Goodwin (rightly) feel inadequate. How more people don't see through them is beyond me

On Sat/Sun 6/7 June we're celebrating the 125th birthday of Queens Road garage, next door to our museum. And our friends at Bee Network & Stagecoach are helping by holding an open day at the garage on Saturday 6 June! Between the open day and the museum event it'll be a brill day out for the family.
