I signed up for the documentary film writing course.

Very excited about this.

From finding a prospective producer to realizing that this project has the ability to come to life - this is timely.

Do know I’m going to have a good cry about this season I’m in.

My creativity is exploding & expansive. I’m meeting the right people to assist in bringing my ideas to life.

This is what I’ve prayed for & it’s happening. My god.

In taking to a friend in the community about my documentary idea, I asked her - would you be interested in possibly producing this?

She said yes.

So, I guess I have a producer for the documentary. Lol

My audacity to ask for what I want hasn’t faded with age. And I love that for me.

As an elder Millennial, the way people used to cut up about using Wiki for anything lol. But Wiki was a good starting point, but you need more people (references/sources).

And I love the public scholarship aspect. I have something similar in mind to do at some point. Can't wait to see what y'all do

This is an interesting take that I agree with.

Like, are people going beyond the 2 minute video they watch to learn more, or will they just settle for what was told to them without digging more?

Also - how do we get people to be more curious to dive deeper instead of having superficial insight?

Yes - a documentary. Now I have two film bodies of work to dig into. Lol.

The price is right for it & it’s only 5 weeks. I can do it, technically.

In light of everything, a reminder:

Waking up to see that that man said the slur 3 separate times during the event - all to Black people, mind you - is why the posturing is absurd.

One of those persons is Hannah Beachler, who is the production designer for Sinners. She shared her experience online about it.

I found a really inexpensive tarot & oracle deck course online, & I had to snag it.

Esp since the site is having a cool sale right now.

I'm interested in creating my own oracle deck at some point, so this was a nice thing to discover.

That is frustrating. But at least you know early enough to shift gears.

Also - there’s a convo to be had about Black women who date interracially & how they show up in their r’ships. That’s a convo to have offline though. But I have big thoughts. Lol
