What we are seeing in Minnesota is what authoritarianism looks like in real time. Racism, dehumanization, and state-sanctioned violence are tearing at the foundation of this country.

Texas Republican Keithself storms out of the meeting he's supposed to be running because a Democrat asked him to treat his colleague Sarah McBride with respect. These people would not last one day as a trans person.

Everyone should be outraged right now. There is nothing normal or ok about this. If you voted for Trump, you are part of the problem. R’s spent over $200 million on anti-trans ads in the last election. They didn’t hide their hate. They’re just getting bolder as people stand by and allow it.

I hope that kid is embarrassed by his attitude when he watches the show.
