The new season of Black Mirror is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. “Eulogy” is even better than “San Junipero,” and I never thought I’d love an episode more than that one. “Common People” is one of the most devastating episodes of all time. (But phenomenal.)

So far 2025 has been a chaotic and stressful year for obvious reasons, but books are keeping me going. I just read two nonfiction books that made me think of the boundless possibilities of the genre: I AM, I AM, I AM by Maggie O’Farrell and THE UNDOCUMENTED AMERICANS by Karla Cornejo Villavicencio.
