13.09.2025 16:08 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Similarly, I've only ever used a Nintendo style controller. So A/B X/Y are always reversed from what I'm used to.
But the positions are always the same, so some sort of directional face button indicator would work I think.
(Although, I could swear certain games would just pick up your type)
Ayy, nice!

It's going back and affecting Shorts I've uploaded well before they started rolling this out.

True!
02.07.2025 00:01 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I keep forgetting that they marketed it as "DS2" and that this ISN'T a Dark Souls 2 remake or re-release lol
24.06.2025 21:14 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0It's easier to run with a team, IMO. Even randos. I tend to follow whoever marks the map first.
Runs can go belly-up pretty fast, but I think that's just part of the game.
Level 6/7 by night one, 10/11 by night two, is generally pretty good. Boss weakness is important too, stops certain attacks.
Mostly I just follow anyone who marks stuff. It's worked out pretty well so far.
If a field boss is something like a Blackblade Kindred or Draconic Tree Sentinel, they'll usually ignore it. If it's weak enough to vanquish before the circle closes on us, they'll do it.
(2/2) There's apparently a softcap at level 11/12, and people tend to grind the center castle if it's Crucible Knights for their relative ease and high rune drop.
They also generally avoid the basement if it's Bellbearing Hunter.
One person I know also always chooses the rune reward from Gaols.
(1/2) Here's what people seem to do every time I join:
Day 1: Nearby enemies from drop, then nearby Forts (think Fort Haight), then churches (Think Ranni's) and camps.
Day 2: Grabbing some Flasks and immediately heading into the Shifting Earth, or conquering the center castle from basement up.
I hope #KirbyAirRiders has a City Trial like mode. It was one of the neat parts of the OG.
Of course, I won't get my hopes up since I'd rather be pleasantly surprised than disappointed. Given it's the same director, I'm sure it'll be good either way.

21.03.2025 09:57 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I'm really bad at the whole "social" part of social media.
Sorry if you're expecting a response and I haven't got around to it, I'm stuck trying to double-check everything.
I've made a short video which has a couple more details: youtu.be/vTdsST1rRsU
Also, even if your art style isn't what I'm looking for, that doesn't mean it's bad!
There's loads of people I'd be happy to commission normally, I'm just looking for something specific for THIS one.
I've made a Google Form to collect recommendations:
forms.gle/2kwcd9BRa9b8...
Artists can also fill it out their selves, it's for both.
Poster-styled image with a red background and gold border. Large gold text reads; "I WANT TO COMMISSION YOU", with smaller text that reads, "if your art style looks like this". Below that, there are four square images showcasing a specific art style, focusing on the smoothly-shaded, almost dull grey metal that isn't very reflective and similarly smoothly-shaded fabric. Text below that reads; "This piece was done by Jooyoung Park, whoโs been gone a long time. :( PLEASE CONTACT @SirGreaves.bsky.social If you, or someone you know, can draw like this. If not, please help me get more eyes on this by sharing and reposting :D"
Following a suggestion;
I'm looking for someone who renders armor and fabric like this. (in the little boxes)
This specific artist hasn't been around since 2020. :(
But if your style is similar, hit me up!
If not, sharing and reposting is good! :D
Of course, no AI.
@sirgreaves.bsky.social Saw your YT short about not being able to find an artist for a specific style and I was like "??? I could probably do that" so I wanted to have a go at your character!
It wa a lot more fun than I expected, but after 2 hours I decided to take a break instead of continuing lol
Oooooh, this really makes me wish the area had a much darker atmosphere

The things I was using lacked the features I wanted, so I did a little tinkering with Javascript.
It has a silence threshold, a loudness threshold, and can apply effects to all states. The wiggling is greatly exaggerated for demonstration purposes.

I've since taken some screenshots in comparable lighting so the difference is much more visible.

10.02.2025 03:53 โ ๐ 10 ๐ 4 ๐ฌ 3 ๐ 0Screenshot of Tiberian Sun's main menu at 1080p, with absolutely huge letterboxing. The menu is just a tiny rectangle with what looks like enough blank space around it for eight copies.
A screenshot of Tiberian Sun, in-game, running at 1080p. The game definitely fills the screen quite well, but the menu and units are all tiny.
I could've just run Tiberian Sun at 1080p.
It's actually pretty good at filling the space. But then all the menus, units, etc. would be super tiny since it was made for smaller displays. I wanted something a bit easier to see lol
Finally, OBS lets you set "Scale Filtering" to "Point" on capture sources.
Since Tiberian Sun (and the display it's running on) are set to 960x540, but my second monitor and OBS output is still 1080p, that means filling the whole source with a nice crisp upscale.

But NVidia Control Panel lets you set custom resolutions that aren't normally supported by Windows, AND lets you set the Scaling Mode to Integer Scaling. Since I wanted to use 960x540, this works perfectly for me. (Upscales to 1080p at exactly 2x)
