They took my vitals that morning before I started and even did a finger stick and looked at my protein levels in my blood before I was hooked up and said everything was good 🤷🏻‍♂️

Anyone else have experience donating plasma? Wtf happened to me?

The crazy thing was I was just fine and then within about 30 seconds I felt like I was dying and passed out. I’d been there for an hour on the machine, had about 7 liters of blood pumped out and back into me. If I was dehydrated I should have passed out on the first liter.

I think they fucked up the saline drip and that’s what really happened. Of course they won’t admit to that for liability reasons, but at the end the machine puts your blood back in and then switches over to the saline and I think it wasn’t hooked up.

When I finally had my wits about me again I asked the doctor what happened and he said my blood pressure just tanked. He said I must not have been hydrated enough, despite having drank 80+ ounces yesterday and 48oz this morning before I got there.
