A: That's not to say it's the correct thing to do, I've been in too many where the best thing is to be as far away from that person as possible, hopefully on another planet or in another dimension altogether. M: I never understood venting on social media. I can understand seeking support for what might trouble you, but the extremes some go to concern me - misery and doom freely spread into the world with very little support or help taken. Surely we should strive for a net positive impact on others, no?

Not sure how much I'll use this. Maybe a little, maybe a lot

I swore off of any social media besides basic communication years ago and I don't want to kick that good habit. But maybe somewhere like this, with good and kind people, is worth the chance
I just need to make sure I don't doomscroll lol
