Ha! I only play golf because I havenโt got enough stress in my life.
As for going back to work, I only retired that early because my profession decided that I was the wrong side of 50 to be useful. If you think I should be stacking shelves at B&Q you can sod off.

Even without NI saving Indian workers much cheaper to employ. 2 outcomes:
1. British workers squeezed out of jobs in multinational coโs as they โsecondโ ppl into UK jobs.
2. UK coโs without an India presence pay more for resource and are therefore at a disadvantage to multinationals.

Itโs been blindingly obvious for years they want to kick the Palestinians out of Gaza and West Bank. They just needed an excuse. Then itโll be Lebanon.

UK politics is fragmented. The only way to stop an extremist minority government is PR. Labour are too stupid to see theyโll be wiped out at the next election without this.

Whether they are common or not, it still makes โsecondedโ staff even more cheaper to employ than UK workers.

Thatโs a bit naive, I have worked for a number of IT companies (not Indian) over the years who loved Indian worker secondments because they were cheaper than UK workers. This will make them even cheaper. Of course that will affect jobs for UK workers.

Iโve realised that politicians often tell the truth even when they donโt mean to. Tariffs MIGHT make the US a richer country, but most of its residents will be poorer.
