Hey friends.

As many of you know, I was involved in a county commision meeting incident on 6/30. A black man was arrested for simply approaching his representing commisioners. 3 others including myself were physically attacked when we stepped in

The four of us are not safe.

Trenton was taken to the Putnam County detention facility. He has since been released.

The man in the blue polo– not law enforcement– attacked two of us. Not shown in this footage: he later pushed the person he is "detaining" to the ground.

Footage from the incident is recorded by the county. Those of us there all watched it happen. Trenton went to peacefully approach the commisioners. He was attacked.

Shortly after the meeting adjourned (and the live stream video was cut off), Trenton rose to introduce himself to the commisioners, as many others were doing. He was swarmed by police and citizens. Many of us in the group approached with cameras and questions, and were met with physical force

Trenton is a fierce advocate of attending local meetings, maintaining a respectful presence, and personally meeting with electeds after they are over. Here is the group he organized, meeting up for coffee before walking to the meeting. Prior to entry, we re-emphasized our goal of peaceful presence.
