In Outlander this scene is described as Ellen and Brian slipping out under noses of 300 clansmen, this choice seems unnecessary.

I’m glad we know there will be another season, but I’m sad we are already at the finale of season one. 😢

If you love Downton Abbey, go see the new movie - it is fabulous!!
I was apprehensive about how they would wrap up this series, but they did a fantastic job. I laughed, I cried, and absolutely loved this Grand Finale!

I am not aware of this type of behavior during labor being a Scottish custom. It would make sense that the local women would gather with the midwives for the birth but this behavior is strange.

Also, poor Henry. They probably thought they were giving him closure but…

Welp, that sure backfired on Mrs. Porter. She has been awful to Julia but you feel sorry for her as well.

Starting to feel a wee bit of sympathy for Malcolm and for Jocasta…

Ellen’s costuming is gorgeous!

Ellen so wanted to choose Brian as king, but she made the wise decision!

Brian should not have strung Murtagh along like this. Can’t help but feel bad for him.

Brian and Ellen’s chemistry is wonderful, and Brian is convincing as the father of Jamie.

I like that they show the Beltane festivities, I’m not sure that the Grants would have attended, but I love the inclusion of the lore of the faerie folk.

Not much to say about this episode except Ellen is pretty bad-ass.

I love that Henry was the one to pick Claire’s name 🥹

She was their “clear and bright” future and grew to be Jamie’s Sorcha, his light when he was also broken and wracked with night terrors and PTSD and I’m not crying over the full circle YOU ARE 😭

One of the things I am loving about B.o.M.B. is the return to Scotland. I didn’t realize how much I had missed that is the later seasons of Outlander.

All in all, thoroughly enjoyed the first two episodes, can’t wait for the 3rd!!

• I don’t completely love that H&J end up with the same families that Claire meets, the coincidence is a bit much. But then again, we are talking about time travel, so…🤷🏻‍♀️
