Fanny says her mother taught it to her…
Claire tells Jamie she thinks Faith lived…

Lallybroch- Roger and Bree are discussing the people they have met in this time. Do they go back to 1980? To Jamie and Claire’s time?

RIP Rollo

Rachel and Ian discuss whether to stay with the army or go to the ridge. Rachel tells him she is pregnant.
In the morning, Ian whistles for Rollo but he is dead. Ian’s grief…. 😭
They grieve over their loss, and go to bury him.

The actress is plays Fanny, is so endearing. Her grief over Jane’s death is heartbreaking.

They find out that Jane has already been buried in an unmarked grave.
Fanny is distraught, Claire tries to comfort her.
Claire learns their mother’s name was Faith.

William asks for help to retrieve Jane’s body for burial.
He asks Jamie to tell him how he came to be. Jamie will only tell him some things, but he does tell
him that his mother was courageous, bold, curious, confident.
William, still upset, says he will never call him father.

William brings Fanny to Jamie and Claire.
Jamie gives her a lock of Jane’s hair and tells Fanny she can live with them on the ridge. That he will take care of her and protect her.

Jane has prevented the army from executing her. William is gutted, he wanted so badly to save her. Jamie gets him away from there before the soldiers arrive.

William comes to ask for Jamie’s help with getting Jane out of the jail.
Jamie tells Claire he has to go, that this is the only time his son has ever asked for his help.
They break into the jail to rescue Jane only to find a heartbreaking site.

Brianna get to talk to Brian Fraser, her grandfather

Claire continues to recover…

Jamie watches… glaring at them like a petulant bear…

Then Claire is like, bite me James Fraser, I’m going to tell LJ thank you for saving my life even if you are being an ungrateful bastard…

Claire is like, “omg…bloody men….”

LJ is like, “well, excuse me…MRS. FRASER…”
Jamie glowers some more, LJ is like do you really want to do this???

This is a sweet, but humorous scene. Lord John comes to tell Claire goodbye, Jamie, being a jealous fool, objects to his calling her “my dear”

Brianna and Mandy and here too…

But then, it gets better…

a joyful reunion…

Roger and Buck are leaving Lallybroch, when Roger suddenly says, “what the hell??”

Claire is recovering, she is visited by Master Raymond, or was that a dream….?
Claire tells Jamie and they talk about Faith, and about dying.

Lord John tells William that Jane has signed a confession and will be executed

Ian arrives, he tells Jamie that William is safe. Jamie tells him about Claire being shot.

William tells Lord John about the arrest of Jane, and asks for his help.

Jamie sitting by Claire’s bedside, praying for her. Claire wakes, and tells him,
“I’ve decided not to die”

Jamie is ordered to report to General Lee, he resigns in a dramatic fashion.

Jamie tries to stop the bleeding
The surgeon says there is nothing he can do for her.

Bixby finds Denzel and brings him back, Denzel
begins to operate.

The camp is being evacuated, Denzel and Rachel leave, Claire won’t leave because of her patients.

Jamie’s men move to protect the hospital
Then the two armies start yelling at each other, shots are fired, and then Claire is shot.
