Homelessness should be an issue everyone pays attention to. I'm employed, make good $, but have found myself near homeless taking care of a loved one. So many are one illness or job loss away. Thank you for pointing out that dehumanizing the unhoused will only put more at risk!

The fact they call for ending housing first programs while claiming to address the "root causes" of homelessness seems counterintuitive. This seems to criminalize and punish the unhoused for the very things they need protection from.
