The original version of "Midnight Train to Georgia" was this song, "Midnight Plane to Houston." Farrah Fawcett told songwriter Jim Weatherly that she was flying "on that midnight plane to Houston." He wrote this song, which got turned into "Midnight Train to Georgia."
