It's surprisingly hard to avoid news when I'm so used to just swiping to the news feed (which is already bad thanks to algorithms and stuff) when I'm bored.
At least this way, I avoid the clickbait titles. God I could rant about what feels like the decline of journalism so so much.

I think I'm at a point where I can't stand any more news or information about the state of the world or the economy, I can only digest so much negativity and bad news before I end up in a depression spiral.

The urge to move into the middle of nowhere or become a hermit is strong...
