First panel: A wide front view of Shallare's workspace, with Shallare sitting in front of it. The background is unfocused, and the lighting is uniform. Overseer seems like a common inphernal so they're likely lying
Then there's "illnesses [etc.] unique to inphernals". Mixing this with the fan-made gear summoning disabilities, maybe they are disabled in a similar [if not the same] way
