You don't need to prove anything for anyone but yourself. ʚ Most people can only treat you as well as they treat themselves, so be with people who has a similar wavelength to you and don't wait around for other people to change just because you hope they will. ʚ Be careful around people that only reach out when you feel down, some of them will only be there to treat your lows as their own entertainment. ʚ Set standards and boundaries and remember that the only validation that you need in this life and the next is your own.

Day 9 Iman from Sultan’s Game

Last time I went to church, I was like 29 or 30 I think. Hated it. Realized then that it deffo wasn't for me.

I went to a church camp every summer where we would attend church 3 tines a day. I loved that camp but it would burn me out so bad I couldn't attend church for weeks after.

As I aged I attended the services less and less. Until I stopped completely.

I don't think I ever jived with it tbh.

I always thought church was boring, couldn't sit still or focus, hated Sunday school. I only ever really liked the hymns and singing in the choir.
