Got a box of beers from SF Beer Week. Starting with this West Coast IPA. It's got that savoury chive like hop nose, and it's a bit dank. Getting floral notes & mango. Decent brew.

No idea how they do it but this nicely cold, bright and super refreshing little Pale from Mad Squirrel is £3.49 a pint in Spoons. Excellent.

Brew #2 my friend in CA mailed me: Juice Press Hazy IPA (Burgeon Beer Co., Carlsbad CA). Very fruit-forward with a little bitterness, but not much of an earthy/solventy component, which to me makes it a "hazy" rather than a "NE" IPA. But the fruit's fresh, so it's a tasty brew. #BeerSky #BskyBeer

A beautifully layered beer with tastes of chocolate, malt, dried fruit, biscuits and a lovely mouthfeel. Very refreshing 😋

Last of the Farsons trifecta is the Double Red. Sweet but dry, offering toffee apples and lemon meringue, and hiding it's 6.8% ABV very well. I'd prefer a little more bitterness, but this is decent stuff.
