Great rich malty chocolate aromas
Pours dark with creamy head
Flavours- chocolate coffee caramel brown sugar dark malts.
Rich roasty flavours and has a nice dark chocolate bitterness as a sign off

A few pints of Goff's Vanilla Stout in The Alma, watching Scotland beat France in the Six Nations. Stunning work all round! The vanilla is subtle in this, supporting the main act rather than stealing the limelight. Great beer.

I've got a "modern West-Coast IPA" called West Ghost from Sierra Nevada. I don't know what constitutes "modern", exactly, but I'll say this ale doesn't sell out totally to the hops; the malt character remains important. But that's a bit more like a "throwback", don't you think? #BeerSky #BskyBeer

An ANZAC Biscuit Ale on the boil, which might confuse international readers but will be immediately understood by Australian readers. It features 9.5% biscuit malt and will have an addition of golden syrup in the whirlpool. Toasted coconut flakes added to secondary fermentation. #bskybeer

Got this in my SF Beer Week Box & am grateful for this TIPA. Quite hop forward with a nice bitterness. Getting grapefruit and berries, finishes with a subtle sweetness 10.4% ABV. Very nice.

I get funky, stone fruit aroma. Acetone/balsamic vinegar and muddled tart cherry flavor notes with an effervescent body and a subtle lingering sweetness. Not sure why I’m describing, y’all have had this gem before. Proost!
