More “Ultramarines”!

Frustrated. I was fighting with blue paint and the airbrush tonight because I wanted to switch the tone and saturation for my “ #Ultramarines ” Librarian, instead of using the recipe I used for the rest (see #SpaceMarine Captain).

Work in progress on a Judiciar (or Master of Executions). Tried something new with the sword but didn’t work out, and black armour recipe not quite there.

For this #Warhammer Chaos #SpaceMarine army, disguised as “Ultramarines”, hardest part is matching and differentiating between units.

Fun model build, took a while to get painted, but #Warhammer Ballistus #Dreadnought in #Salamanders colours painted and getting ready for basing. I think I should have kept a bit more satin varnish instead of matte.

Work in progress #Warhammer #Dreadnought. I’ve been sitting on the built and primed model for a while now, undecided on how to paint it. It is also generally out of stock, so much harder to source a replacement.

不威脅 would translate as “not dangerous”. It is not an actual saying, but that might be closer to the meaning. (Most phrases I know are 6-8 characters long.)

小男人 is “small male person (or child)”. 他很小 is “they very small”. (Chinese doesn’t have he/she pronouns.)

Not quite the right green power weapons for my not-Ultramarine #Warhammer40K #SpaceMarines. Painted over twice before, so they’ll do for now.

Might need a different highlight green…

The Tallgeese stand comes with the model (the foot has a peg that slots into the base). The Space Marine is dollar store gravel and Gamer Grass (just happens to match the magenta shadows).

Trying out the new #Gundam #Assemble #Tallgeese on the paint table. My greys all dried up, so I had to use white. (Don’t paint white with white!)

Quick test paint using the same formula for the #BattleTech #MadCat as I did for “Ultramarines” doesn’t quite work. I needed a darker blue layer before the midtone, I think. All #paints @thearmypainter.bsky.social. I’ll finish it later…

It is a bit too bright compared to the rest of my army, but the magenta works better than purple and turquoise. Darker preshade next to work out a formula…
