I have had dozens of cats, over the course of my long life. My record is six at once. Now have one 3-yr old, Puss in Boots, who is a very "Good girl." A rescue from a colony at a near-by lake. We are very close. Have fun with your's.

1. You will never have nice things, again. Kitty/ Cat will claw, chew, puke on, knock over indiscriminately.
2. Cats do not listen or behave. Save a robust, angry "NO!" for times you really mean it.

I've had that (bad) habit for years. I lugged boxes & boxes of books with me, every time I moved. (And I move a lot.) Now I have a large collection of digital books, which I haven't read either. Last few years I've read much of Virginia Woolf's work. Her Short Stories are amazing. Cheers

I wonder the same of my Dad. He was registered as Independent in CA, but voted Republican for years. He did praise FDR & MLK. When he voted for Nixon, even though Watergate was exposed and after I tried to open his eyes, we stopped discussing politics. I wonder if he would have voted for Obama.
