Again - irrespective of your experience - I don’t agree. If a design prompts a debate on the application of technology (think BMW iDrive c.2002) and gets people to explore the idea, it is good whilst being divisive. Making it binary just suppresses the conversation. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Don’t agree. Aesthetics is just the concern of looks which are ultimately subjective. Good design is a combination of form, function and technology. Great design will look beyond what people know they need or think they want, into what the art of the possible is. It’s this that divides people.

Good design is divisive. The TT had its share of critics and fanatics. It has aged wonderfully though. And you can recreate something similar to the proportions of the concept by getting a roadster and finding the super rare hard top. If it takes your fancy.

A street lit spot of a surprisingly rust-free 1997 R170 SLK. The AMG body styling and monoblock wheels makes such a difference to these. A bit of research shows a lovely MoT history and under 50k miles too.

Indeed they did. Swallow Sidecars became SS when they got into cars. But then had to be changed due to the obvious WW2 connections. And so we got Jaaaaaaag. 🥰

I can hear the start up noise just looking at the logos… 😂 Many hours on (the OG birds-eye view) Gran Theft Auto, Demolition Derby and of course, Gran Turismo.

Easily one of the very prettiest saloons ever.

I remember a neighbour getting a 4.0 SE in Mistral Blue around 2000/2001 and being utterly besotted with it.

The S-type seems to be quite unloved these days but I always had a soft spot for it. Controversially preferred it to the Rover 75 😬 (Don’t @ me!)

#Jaguar is getting a rebrand. It’s not the first. In fact, the longest lasting version of their logo lasted 19-years covering the entire of the 90s. In contrast the 2021 update is just 3 years old and is now being replaced again. What do you think of the new one? 😬
