I bet they think they are pretty tough...breaking laws, trying to intimidate, hanging together in packs, behind masks with guns paid for with our tax dollars. But think about this: They decided to take on Minnesotans. We survive Winter; year after year. We rebuilt after George Floyd's murder. We survived losing pretty much every major sports championship; when we rarely get there. Most important, it's abundantly clear that resistence is growing by the minute, getting more organized and, even in a place that has its own divides, so many unlikely partners are coming together into one powerful force for the common good: Community based networks of protectors are everywhere. Parents and teachers are organizing to keep ICE out of our schools. Food deliveries to those forced inside are growing and broadening. I would never wish this on anyone but if there is going to be one place that helps recenter the values of our country......and reminds us what the Statue of Liberty is all about.....let it be Minnesota. Stand strong. Our unity is turning the tide.
