I think 'JRPG's by non Japanese devs' need to really indulge in there own cultural milieu. Japan devs do, but we're not 100% on them so it becomes this x-factor people latch on.

E33 being French as hell is part of it's appeal. Even Undertale/Deltarune has this Americana storybook quality to it.

I'm personally getting tired of 'Black/White Geometric' aesthetics for games and tech.

But a color shelled monitor is like 20% more expensive than the simple black or white so here we go.

I don't need a RETVRN to toyetic aesthetics, but I do want a change.

Unsure how this will go down, but I totally see a new competitor in the console space. Especially with how the space being weirdo.

It may be Valve's Steam Machine, it could be 'The China Box.' Who knows.

Watching a bunch of 90s and 00s movies and the 'they don't make them like the used too' is hitting me hard

Being forced to watch all these “pacified” kids movies with with all these commercialized pop songs and wacky comedy with my 4yr old niece has only convinced me mentally of one thing…kids movies need to return to being traumatizing again 🤭
