I plan to attend my local scbwi conferences but have yet to meet 12x12 members who are not already my CPs.

I love the 12x12 community though what keeps me in the chair is the fact the writing process is self-care and fun!

I don't snack while I write because I'll drop them all over the place but it's my reward afterwards. I love chocolate covered nuts and rice crackers :).

I love going to the library but especially today when I get to vote and pick up library books my daughter and I will read for the week!

The moths' mamas lay eggs on the underside of the leaves of seedlings of cruciferous veggies. Covering with netting when you first put them into the ground will help a lot (speaking from experience 😵🤯).

A better picture!

This baby hummingbird flew out and couldn't get off the ground back to her nest! With roaming cats around, we were able to return her to her nest with her sibling! See two little heads?

I write in different libraries throughout the week and it's always a delight to spot familiar names. I might have pulled out @teresarobeson.bsky.social's book just a tad 😁.

She nested about 7 ft off the ground in my loquat tree! The two previous generations have nested in the same tree and I planted lots of flowers. Salvias, Borages, & Zinnias are near the tree so they want to stay 😍.
