Just finished episode one of Starfleet Academy. No spoilers, but I love it. And yes, the Athena is pretty much a cruise ship in space, but as a 9 soon to be 10 time alumni of STTC, you should already I'm totally good with that.

upgraded to Alexa+ last night. So far the thing it's most capable of is to apologize for screwing up tasks that it was able to do with no problems before the upgrade.

I watched the new Knives Out movie this evening. I am less than whelmed. Also I have comments on choice of actors/actresses chosen to play a bad guy for all three movies. But I won't because spoilers...

Picard season one was amazing and completely relevant. Season two was good until they decided to kill off half the cast to do a reunion show instead. The only good thing about season three was Captain Shaw.

USPS still holding my mail hostage and narrowing down the window for when I get my mail from whenever I'm not at work to 3 hours a week on Saturday mornings when I'd rather be running errands and working on projects.

It's been this way since at least Labor Day weekend.
