Humans can only survive about 3 days without water.

iran is a country where millions of people are born, live, fall in love, have children, make art, read books, play sports, doomscroll, cook, build homes, care for one another, fight, argue, complain, and die. iran is a place with real people and we pretend like theres two sides to this shit.

so many of the very first photos my parents took of me are taken in Iran. I was born in India, but lived in Iran, before during and after the Revolution. My father worked in a remote rural hospital for 8 years.
These are real people, not the bogeymen of silly Hollywood films.
Its always real people.

I think if I'd gotten away with attempting a coup, suffered no consequences for it, then won an election four years later, got away with executing citizens in the streets and foreigners in boats, and successfully abducted a head of state, I too might think I could just bomb my way to regime change
