Nowadays I stay up to watch the sunrise after morning prayer. Somethings never change for a reason. Blessed to even have this feeling.

I love being up on those crisp mornings to see the sunrise. Reminds me of my grandmother waking up my brother and I to go to church with her. Boy did I use to hate going to Sunday school.

I moved 1 millimeter and just killed his vibe. Now he got an attitude and got up. Mean as little cat. It’s okay he’ll be back. I ain’t even going to acknowledge his tantrum.

Truly not a bad problem to have though. Cats are just mini radiators. How can a tiny creature generate so much heat? How is he barely 10lbs but feels like he can crush my chest when he’s laying on me?

Just laid down after reading. Checked my bed to make sure the cat wasn’t in my bed. Closed the door. Not even 5min later guess who comes from underneath the bed. He’s a master infiltrator. I guess I’m being forced into cuddles.

I too have almost lost a nipple frying food.

I real live be wanting to tell them, if you ain’t coming downstairs to make Salah then go back to bed. We have nothing to discuss at this hour.

You know what’s wild about waking up this early with pets? Both of them think they are about to eat.

Up early waiting to pray. Then I’ll read and then go back to sleep for a bit. Had a more balanced breakfast today so hopefully my blood sugar remains stable until it’s time for Maghrib.

Hardest part about Ramadan for me isn’t even waking up early. That’s light work. It’s the eating breakfast this early that gets me. I wouldn’t eat until lunch time on a regular basis. However, I am blessed to be able to eat this early so I won’t complain.

Sometimes the highlight of my morning is getting a whiff of a fresh hit pot of coffee.

I’ve been a Hamilton fan for years; I don’t really care for Ferrari though. Suing your customers for altering fully paid off cars will never sit right with me. I’m pro-right to repair and will never support any company who thinks otherwise.

Cadillac has to great drivers who were perennial brides maids on their former teams. I feel both of them are eager to prove themselves; however I’m not sure if Cadillac as a team is truly ready to compete its first year.

I really respect people who can’t fight and act accordingly. Too many people be out here sellin wolf tickets. No shame in not knowing how to fight. There are truly more important things to put your energy into.
