Yet another reminder of how vulnerable our reliance on fossil fuel makes us, and how absurd it is that the UK artificially links the retail price of cheap, clean renewables to expensive, dirty gas.

The Scotsman article: Cosla demands next Scottish government 'scrap and replace' council tax

Thousands of us are being unfairly taxed by an outdated Council Tax system that leaves councils scrapping for money and the richest households paying pennies.

Council tax needs replaced.

The UK's permission for the US to use its bases in attacking Iran amounts to complicity in the crime of aggression. It drags us into what could be an endless war, without democratic or even parliamentary consent.

I also secured funding to move heat networks to the next stage. Also known as district heating, heat networks distribute heat from a central source through insulated pipes to multiple buildings, providing heating and hot water. @electlauramoodie.bsky.social
