They use long balls a lot to move the ball up the pitch, they don't use intricate passes and movements to keep the ball and create danger with it.

They mainly create threat from the left-wing (xT, left). Opponents attack on both flanks (xT allowed, right), but their centre-back partnership (Murillo and Milenković) have been dominating their own box.

They need finishing overperformance to overcome the lack of consistent attacking threat. Wood is providing that this season, as his PSxG/xG rate and percentile show it.

The pizza charts show their way of defending, in-possession game and attacking style. They are a throwback team a bit, not pressing a lot, do not use central entries in the final third or the box, relying heavily on crosses towards Chris Wood.

With Salah staying, he will further cement his legacy at the club and in english football. The club know have clarity over his future, which will help this much-anticipated summer for the front office to put its plans into action.

His shot map is the usual Mo Salah shotmap. Danger zone and right half-space are the main areas where he is shooting from.

His attacking numbers are amazing. At 32, he is still an amazing goal threat and playmaker as a passer. He isn't as good of a dribbler anymore than before. He is third in xT carry+pass among Premier League wingers.

Arne Slot's tactics highlighted Salah's strengths and decreased his defensive responsibilites. It might sound obvious, but setting up your team in order to maximise your best player's abilites will never be a bad strategy.
