This is the abhorrently unethical man who served Trump and got rewarded with an appeals court seat. Democrats should begin impeachment proceedings against him the moment they are able to do so.

The crazy thing is that despite this costing literally billions of dollars; they have the money for it!

That’s right, Congress decided to cut funding for public broadcasting and benefits for Americans and instead give CBP billions for the border wall, which they’ll now use to paint the wall black.

But on an early mid-March morning, agents entered his father’s house in Maryland and took Salazar and his father away in handcuffs.

Afterwards, scrolling through his social media on their phones, agents interrogated Salazar and asked him to identify various people in his network. Salazar saw one of the agents writing down in his notes something about a gun – an English word he recognized, he said. The agents did not show him the image, but Salazar remembers insisting to them that whatever they saw was probably a toy water pistol. The Guardian has reviewed an image that Salazar’s family thinks Ice may have been referring to, it shows a person standing near Salazar with a blue-and-white item peeking out of a pants pocket that resembles a small plastic water pistol.

Salazar was recorded in the authorities’ computer system as an alleged member of the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua criminal gang and was made to wear green prison clothing that signifies an alleged gangster, according to a court filing.

WOW. @tanvi.bsky.social reports ICE was going to send a TEENAGER to be imprisoned in El Salvador without a trial because an officer thought a blue and white water pistol was a real gun!

He has NO criminal record, was attending school, has a pending asylum hearing, and has never gotten into trouble!

In the law firm executive order cases, DOJ takes the position that an injunction barring implementation will only be enforceable against the govt agencies named in the complaint. So Perkins Coie just amended its complaint to name all the relevant fed agencies. The case caption is now 40 pages long.

On Saturday, April 12 at 3pm, we are holding a march to the ICE Field Office in downtown LA. The meeting point for the march is the corner of Broadway and Temple downtown, not far from Gloria Molina Grand Park. The AOC/Bernie rally at Gloria Molina Grand Park will be
concluding around that time, so our idea is to make it convenient for people who had already planned to attend the AOC/Bernie rally, and also get some folks at that rally to join us.
We are inviting folks from many different universities in southern California to attend this march. If you have colleagues or friends at USC, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, Cal State LA, Occidental College, Caltech, Loyola Marymount, etc., or any other college in the area, please forward them our flyer or this email and invite them.

Having known a decent number of officers, I’ve always been impressed by their sense that they owe obedience to the law, not the president.

That said, any split on the legality of orders puts us in a really, really, really bad place.

Kidnapping.

Capturing a person against their will without due process is called kidnapping.

Transporting them to another country without due process is called human trafficking.

A squalid extrajudicial prison for people found guilty of no crime is called a concentration camp.

stop calling things deportation just because they call it deportation.

-You cannot legally deport people without due process.

-You cannot legally deport citizens.

-They are defining down deportation to break the law.

Khalil's lawyers want him transfered back to NY ASAP.

"Today the Department of Justice determined that multiple layers of removal restrictions shielding administrative law judges (ALJs) are unconstitutional.
Unelected and constitutionally unaccountable ALJs have exercised immense power for far too long. In accordance with Supreme Court precedent,
the Department is restoring
