I also use MixItUp, so I put my legal name on the banned list there too so that any user that types my name in chat is automatically banned from my twitch streams. Because let's be honest, anyone coming into stream to type your legal name isn't there for anything but to cause issues.

If you set it to 'public', your mods can see them but any words set to 'private' are only visible by the account holder.

I put my legal first, middle, and last name as banned words so they are automatically removed from chat the moment they're put there, no mod intervention needed. Most importantly though, MAKE SURE you set the banned words to PRIVATE!

I have had two friends doxxed on live stream now. I'll never understand why people feel the need to shatter someones privacy like that but please everyone, I encourage you to update your banned words on Twitch in the moderation settings to include your legal name. See comments #vtuber #ENVtuber
