Sometimes, when I'm stuck on a character or plot, I do a bit of world-building. I try to figure out what cultural, historical, or social environment would have directly affected that character. Often, it helps me sort out their motives, beliefs, and the obstacles that would have naturally existed.

I have mixed feelings about using only 30 seconds from a 2-hour recording. On one hand, I'm frustrated at all the wasted footage, but on the other hand, I have so much less to edit!

I had fun playing Valheim again. I forgot how much I love that game. I do need to collect loads more silver, and then I'll be ready to fight the dragon!

That 3-hour moment when you try to write a story, but instead of developing the plot, you create an entire rating system for identifying the level of technological and interstellar advancement a solar system has reached, plus a whole history that has been covered up by those currently in power.
