Everything sheet is every type of instance on one page - cinema, gigs, other events, exhibitions, theatre, etc. The music events there should be identical to the ones on the music tab.

I'm deliberately not listing absolutely everything going on - there's an element of curation here, but I accept that it is a bit hard to define the edge cases.

Thanks for the kind words. If you want to make a website from the list, fire ahead.

I'm happy to take suggestions for events (for now as comments here although I will set up an e-mail address for suggestions) but I'm wary of letting anyone else directly contribute to it, or control freak reasons.

There are also some freshly added Dublin Bowie Festival events on this weekend for impulsive people to rush out to.

In museum corner I particular note the addition of a William Blake themed exhibition in the National Gallery and Diarmuid MacDiarmada's Vessel in GalleryX.

Also a UK music festival featuring a band with former members of the Fall and a Fall covers band where YOU can take your turn being Mark E. Smith.

New gig offerings include next week's Kaleidoscope night, strange Kirkos concerts, sunday afternoon Hugh Lane Gallery concert, the Kronos Quartet celebrating Steve Reich's 90th, & concerts by E the Artist and Marisa Anderson. And in vintage act corner there are Donovan and Jacqui McShee's Pentangle

Particularly exciting cinema offerings include screenings of weirdo Mark Jenkin films, The Taking of Pelham 123, James Whale's Frankenstein and Bride of, John Woo Hong Kong shoot-em-ups, development themed film screenings in UCD, The Commitments, Buster Keaton's The General etc.

Other new things include exhibitions in the Royal Hibernian Academy and another demonstration for Palestine.

Non-festival films include Baz Luhrman's Elvis concert film (which could be Mr Luhrman taking credit for other people's work) and screenings of Bob Fosse's Cabaret and John Cassavetes' The Killing of a Chinese Bookie.

Newly added concerts include a possibly unwise attempt at Irish traditional music and Javanese gamelan fusion, Fixity playing with a string ensemble, and the intriguing Arab-American band Prostitute.
