I’d stopped for my mental health. Deleted Facebook at the same time for the same reason. Always said i wasn’t quitting booze just “not drinking” then I can drink when I want without feeling any pressure.

👏👏👏 as a kids football coach, I’m appalled by the lack of support some kids have from their parents. A bit of support and guidance and most kids FLY.
Unfortunately some parents just don’t give a shit about their kids. Makes me very sad.

It’s gotta be done. I’m having alcohol for the 2nd time this year. Been dramatically cutting back.

Having a chat with a man about a job tomorrow. Not an interview, just a chat with a recruiter about a potential new job. Think I’d be good but nervous as it’s a bit of a side step.

And it would be office based rather than WFH which my current role is.

Was thinking of looking for a new magazine to subscribe to, as I get through my current 3 quickly each month. Remembered the big box beside my desk contains all issues of Amiga Power. So I think I’ll work my way through them again from the start.

Normal mode is too slow for me. Loving Blitz. Never thought I'd say it, but LOVING Fortnite.
Need to do some account juggling to get my Xbox account linked to my Switch Epic account, and then link my sons Xbox to my Epic.. he uses my Epic for Fortnite.. I want the Crew bonuses on the Switch..

4 games this evening. 2nd then 3 wins. Happy with that. Might try the normal mode although builders just annoy me.

Finally given in and bought the Lego Nintendo Gameboy.

Wanted this for a while. Not sure if I’ll open and build or just plonk the box on a shelf in my office and admire it.

Blitz was a good shout. Much more enjoyable without people building crap all over the place.
Only played a handful of games but had a couple of 4th places and then got my first win. 🏆

Most likely. Occasionally get the odd glitch where it won’t load but that’s normally only for a matter of seconds

Manhattan Aero 4 streaming box

Picked this up this week to replace our ancient Humax freesat box.
It’s pretty cool. Simple to use, very responsive and all streaming apps / “live TV” in one place rather than flicking from Humax to Xbox.

Now to convince the missus we need to upgrade our 15(?) year old HD TV.

And then I saw the price... no thanks.

Very tempted. If it was New Vegas I’d already have downloaded it..

Unfortunately some people just don’t understand Autism. I’m hoping it was said in jest if from a friend.
Having a very tough day today with my autistic daughter.

Will have a look at Blitz and give it a try. Cheers
