It's a tiny thing, but i always found it word people will say "what's up?" or "how you doing?" When they really just mean hi and don't expect an answer.

I think it's worth mentioning for posterity, for the next generation, that the NES didn't just have a slot for your games to go in. It was some kind of little elevator that brought the game down like a toaster. You push it down again and the game is released and springs back up.
