it's not necessarily the work itself, but the passion behind it that usually gets me. as a digital artist i've looked back at old pieces and just remembered how much love i put into that older stuff, even if i've improved a lot since then. its hard not to wonder if you can ever get that passion back

star jelly's ref!!! ft an updated design for the occasion :D i was playing with the idea of giving them a little hat like immediately after designing them but then just. never did. but i ended up absolutely falling in love with it after sketching it ^^
