20.02.2026 20:44 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I saw a screenshot of what seems to be the internal email. It's the usual hollow bs jargon used in comms towards investors. Ticking all the boxes with catchy (for investors) words and wrapping up with a "btw we're shutting down X studio".

A graph displaying the global CO2 emissions from aviations specifically, data between 1940 and 2019 where it peaked at 1 billion tons per year.
Again, it doesn't completely solve root issues, but it would still make it so we'd have a lot less of this and that:

I also look forward to tech still in proto stages that won't fix things by itself BUT will improve current problems that realistically will be around for a while.
- KLM's V-shape airplane should save 20% fuel vs current ones (lower emissions).
- Retreadable airless tyres (less waste, more re-use)
Welp. I had no rush to get one but at this rate I guess I just won't at all π

I just hope the bubble bursts before some people normalise renting remote hardware that you don't own. That would be cyberpunk in the real world on another level.
Probably that's also a good way to see a spike in jockeys.

17.02.2026 05:47 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I'm happy this is being covered a lot by main stream platforms too. But I'm annoyed that the only things that comes out of Milan is people dancing omitting all other videos of protest and debate, I guess those would be too boring, uh?

This is my favourite sign from today's strike β₯οΈ

Standing with the local Ubisoft employees on strike
uh. It's my understanding that this is based on followers (and following?) description alone. Sounds about right: games industry, TTRPGs, what's in between.
Hello people near me!
For the next 3 days (February 10-11-12th) we in Ubisoft Milan will also be on strike β
09.02.2026 15:16 β π 96 π 22 π¬ 2 π 0It seems like a return to Iron Age fashion! And the most uncomfortable thing at it too.

No comment. Just sharing a news article I didn't write.

Kind of wild that this style of communication is the exception and not the normality. Also, great comms/social media team.

Prepping our #SteamNextFest coverage over on noclip_2 and the @noclipvideo.bsky.social Crewcast for later this month.
If you're an indie dev planning to have your demo as part of the event, feel free to reply here, in my dms, or send me an e-mail (in bio)!
I regret to inform everyone that the smartest money people out there are, overwhelmingly, dumb as a rock

Ah! Yes, let me have daily in-person meetings with my colleagues in Paris, Montpellier, Bucharest, Malmo, New Castle.. from my studio in Milan. Shall we meet halfway there for a coffee?
In a co-dev environment, I never had the whole team (or even half) in the same studio.
Eh. Tante bestemmie facili

I guess we're cooking, but not games for once. The unions will be knocking.

I'd say that first of all it depends a lot on the type of game, but generally I see it in a positive way and at least as a good accessibility feature.
Not really in the mini-maps realm but you just reminded me I crave for more maps like those in Far Cry 2 and (even better) Miasmata.
Yup. Very accurate.
