1/2 apple
1 medium onion
TBS brown sugar
Tsp caraway
1/2 cup cooking wine
In a large cast iron pan, cook the bacon, leave drippings. Add apples, cook a minute or two, and add the onions. SautΓ© until soft (medium heat works well). Place sauerkraut (with juices)

Put the ribs on a rack with a half cup of chicken broth underneath

11/2 cup ketchup
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup red wine Vinegar
1/2 cup water
21/2 TBLS dry mustard
2-3 TBSP- salt (to taste)
2 TBSP paprika
1 1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp red pepper flake
1 lemon squeezed
Some dashes of hot pepper sauce.
