🌱wind storm here for the past 4 hours, starting right after I snapped this photo of my beautiful silver maple tree which was started from seedling where it grew. I’ll bet with the morning light, I will not see as many leaves on this tree.

🌱I need ideas for next Spring for what to do with this concrete platform/top of an old cistern. (Currently collecting sticks and rocks, lol.) Grecian sculpture? Fairy Garden? Throne? A fountain? Already dreaming about next Spring. TIA.

Lively looking red and hot pink zinnia cluster growing atop a cement block structure. One lowly little yellow zinnia dots the back right section, standing out in the crowd!

Large wad of pale green and yellow “Miscanthus sinensis” grass, with dark burgundy top plumage. I think this variety is called “morning light maiden grass.”

🌱such pretty grasses (morning light maiden grass) and zinnias still abloom in my neck of the woods! I read online that the Chicago Botanic Garden calls the zinnia the hardest working flower in the summer garden🌱❤️
