π±wind storm here for the past 4 hours, starting right after I snapped this photo of my beautiful silver maple tree which was started from seedling where it grew. Iβll bet with the morning light, I will not see as many leaves on this tree.

Beauty in the dried tall grass and goldenrod
Pile of goldenrod and dried grass reminds me of years ago when we used to dry flowers and bring them into the house. It was a short lived craze
π± Daylight savings time is ended so I have to walk early in the evening. The views are still beautiful β€οΈ and color abounds. Late fall in the northeast

31.10.2025 22:41 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I did not know this about Bridgeport, CTβ¦βthe poverty rate for individuals in Bridgeport was around 21.8% to 22.54% in recent years. This suggests a significant portion of the population, including families, lives below the poverty line. β

22.10.2025 22:55 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Actually, a mini greenhouse would probably do very well there. And be so adorable.

π±I need ideas for next Spring for what to do with this concrete platform/top of an old cistern. (Currently collecting sticks and rocks, lol.) Grecian sculpture? Fairy Garden? Throne? A fountain? Already dreaming about next Spring. TIA.

π±such pretty grasses (morning light maiden grass) and zinnias still abloom in my neck of the woods! I read online that the Chicago Botanic Garden calls the zinnia the hardest working flower in the summer gardenπ±β€οΈ
