Lynch about an executive order that defines βsexβ strictly as male or female. Judge Reyes challenges this definition, noting that there are roughly 30 different intersex variations and citing examples such as XXX chromosomes, androgen insensitivity, and five-alpha reductase deficiency. Judge Reyes emphasizes that not everyone fits neatly into an XX or XY pattern, concluding that the executive orderβs premiseβthat there are only two sexesβis biologically incorrect.
