So Price comes back every night and asks for the same thing, never wavering when Ghost keeps telling him that can't possibly be all he wants

i haven't had gingerbread doritos (idk if they're a thing here?) but my mom used to make tortilla chips and dust them in cinnamon sugar for us as a treat and those were so yummy

that's upsetting tbh.

I feel like a gingerbread Dr. Pepper would whip ass though. Adding gingerbread to the Dr. Pepper flavor? God tier, I think

that Price figured out the loophole and then used it to Ghost's advantage instead of his own. Showing kindness with absolutely no reward in it for himself other than the satisfaction of a job well done and a creature now living a more comfortable, dignified life

After that, nearly every single sword Price brings back aligns with Ghost's desires. If one of the swords in his mouth begins to cause a problem, Price helps him remove it, provides replacements.

Ever vigilant of Ghost's health and wellbeing

He spends hours laying them all out and displaying them for Ghost, waits patiently while Ghost picks through them, discarding the majority of them but accepting enough of them that there's a discernable pattern of preference for Price to pick out.

Price being gone for an exceptionally long time at one point. Weeks turn into several months and Ghost has convinced himself that's it. He's finally outlasted Price's game.

Then Price comes back with two horses carrying packs absolutely LOADED with various swords.

TWO FIFTEEN???????

Ghost who ends up with the most beautiful and ornate swords. All sharpened to a wicked point and cleaned every day until they're absolutely gleaming

Price who helps Ghost heal the inside of his mouth, trusting the dragon not to bite down on him, teeth or not. because even without teeth a dragon is still a dragon and could still kill him and swallow him whole.

Just. Price taking care of him 😭

but it gives us the opportunity to let price replace all of ghost's teeth swords for him.

Price who spends years collecting swords and daggers and brings them all to Ghost to gain his approval. Price who helps Ghost properly affix them so he won't get infected/be in pain from them.
