I agree, there's a bit more jeopardy when each penalty is a 50/50, rather than just watching each taker coolly dispatch the unsaveable penalty they're famous for.

It's pretty futile for the public to be comparing a tennis player, a darts player, a footballer, a jockey, and a racing car driver to say: "But who do we thing has the best PERSONALITY?"

Weird to win it without holding down a starting place within the team. BUT, Dave Gorman did an *excellent* piece on the futility of SPOTY, arguing that if you've sacrificed every other aspect of life to become a Champion in your professional discipline, then...

In every park and public pitch? Why deny the women access? If the goals were made smaller, many games would end 0-0. Poor keeping (largely extinguished today) and small goals are not the same problem.

Only one penalty was out of the keeper's range. I'm a keeper and coach (Wolves and Comets!) You've got to disguise your shot or whip it out of reach. None did that today.

We led for 1 minute in the knockouts, incredible grit and determination to get it over the line
