Gurnell – London social housing targeting Passivhaus - Greengauge Located on the site of the former car park for Gurnell Leisure Centre in Ealing, this development of 295 new build flats and duplexes seeks to provide high quality new build accommodation to meet the aspirational sustainability standards. Greengauge was part of the project team to planning, acting as M&E services engineer, providing Passivhaus design advice, carrying out energy modelling in both PHPP and SAP as well as dynamic thermal modelling in IES to assess likely overheating risk for Part O.

Yes! The bungalows follow the same construction specification as the rest of the dwellings, but have a higher heating demand due to their high form factor so were certified to the PHI Low Energy Standard.

Corbel House EnerPHit, Cambridge - Greengauge The whole house refurbishment of a 1950s semi-detached house in Cambridge has recently culminated in the project achieving EnerPHit certification. Greengauge was part of the project team supporting the retrofit in the role of Passivhaus Consultant, as well as undertaking M&E design.

Elm Grove, Nailsea – Passivhaus Development - Greengauge A 52-home development for North Somerset Council includes 41 Passivhaus Classic homes, 3 Passivhaus Plus homes and 8 bungalows to the PHI Low Energy Building Standard, over 20 blocks. All of the blocks have now received confirmation of certification from the Passivhaus Institute. Greengauge has provided Passivhaus design, thermal bridging modelling, SAP modelling, MEP Design and overheating analysis for the project.
