I don’t think there’s much of a chance of a deal with Iran at this point. We’ve spent hundreds of millions getting hardware in place for a potential attack, and we’re sending more.

This is shaping up to be a multi-week campaign in Iran, if Trump green lights it.

I’m very skeptical that an air campaign alone could do it, even with Israel and France joining.

That’s the biggest issue with regime change in Iran - we don’t know who the heir apparent would be in a forced change. Look at all the chaos in Syria right now. These things never work out like we want.

We could be CLOSER to normal by the end of the decade, but that depends on who takes the mantle of chief jackass on the right when Trump isn’t around anymore.
