TIEC’s Deneyse Kirkpatrick joined the Atlantic Council’s Beyond the Game panel on sports for development — highlighting how higher ed fuels the workforce behind the global sports industry. She also connected with MLS Commissioner Don Garber ahead of the World Cup draw in DC. ⚽🌍

Our UAE delegation exchange is designed to strengthen linkages between HEIs in the UAE and Texas, and over the last couple of days, @uh.edu has provided excellent examples of how schools can remain industry informed, student centered, and workforce ready.

She supported TIEC through research, writing, program development, and assistance with virtual exchange programming, contributing to initiatives that strengthen educational partnerships around the world.

Faculty from UTSA and FORSA institutions are doing more than preparing for virtual exchange, they’re reimagining what teaching and learning can look like during our Virtual Exchange Academy. We’re gearing up for our Summer Virtual Exchange Academy, where faculty from @UTSA and institutions under FORSA will come together to prepare for another impactful round of virtual exchange for fall 2025. We’re looking forward to welcoming this year’s cohort and supporting their journey!

692 students completed virtual exchanges through this program from 2023-2025, enabling them to gain international experience, learn about business and entrepreneurial topics, advance their professional skills, and broaden their intercultural competency—all from the comfort of their own homes!
