It’s a historical reference, not a prediction. If I were to guess, and I shouldn’t, retail investors will think ‘war bad for market,’ sell off driving the market down, then the institutional investors will step in to buy driving it back up.

I’m glad this isn’t going away and would prefer a thorough investigation into the background of the person that made the conscious decision to allow the recording of the slur to air, and then hold them to account. At the very least, they should be demoted.
