Make no mistake, those who believe they are innocent in all of this because they haven’t played a part, are not innocent, they are a coward.
“That’s not what our churches are for.” “We are not supposed to be political at church!”
You cannot say that you stand with those on the margins while remaining silent in your pulpits and your pews.
What is worse is that even after things get to a certain point, where laws are being passed to deport black and brown people, that make it more and more illegal to be Trans in America, when we are dropping bombs on children paid for by our tax dollars, it is still largely silent.
