This is my strategy. Just do it at a local runners track. It'd be a little bit tough staying up for 24 hours or close to it, but I've done it a handful of times before - cramming for a test or finishing a project before a deadline. 😅 For 50 mil, it would be extra easy.

This thread was better than I expected! (And as a casual, I didnt know and had never considered Wayne re: Gotham Social Services).

As we know, there's ways to make it work for almost anyone, even the author, but there's ideal situations and less than ideal situations. A home with a garage space is ideal, and workplaces providing cheap or free chargers helps too. We're fortunate to have both. Now if I can get solar even better.

This is for an 84 kW battery, so definitely not apples to oranges.

We did level 1 for almost a year. But we have an attached garage with an outlet and only a 9 mile commute. We could get it charged up enough for a road trip on weekends, but that was in our ideal situation.

Now with level 2, we can full charge in just a couple hours every few days. Certainly easier
