Rishi Patel is from New Jersey and completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania. A graduate of West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North, he brings significant research experience and played trombone in the Penn Symphony. Welcome Rishi!

Kofi Asare is from New Jersey and completed his undergraduate studies at Oberlin College. He was a track and field athlete in college and served as the class representative to the university board of trustees. After graduating, he worked in clinical research. Last week, the med school had a special event to honor the Rutgers Rising Stars Scholars. Over a dozen students were recognized as part of this program, which provides up to $200,000 over 10 years for RSScholars who work for a Rutgers Health or an RWJBarnabas facility.
