Lovely, aching stream of consciousness from @aaronburch.bsky.social. Come for the comparison of tree felling and story writing, stay for the musings on loss caused by little more than the passing of time.

Saw my 8-year-old's Montessori school perform the play last month. On a stage full of mermaids, Ursula absolutely stole the show and gave this viewer goosebumps and ALL the nostalgia!

Proud to reside in the same state as these brave journalists! Per usual, redirecting the spotlight to progressive policies that work, and the impediments to those efforts' deserved success.

Ha! Had my own confusion last night. It was (and remains) a discarded beanie in the middle of our road.

That's a hell of a hook. I read it immediately and enjoyed it immensely. The best kind of love story -- as surprising as it is lovely.

Chris, thank you for alerting us to this! I made a mistake when adding the new Form to the contest, and it was double-dipping on the total (charging both an "Entry" fee and a "Submission" fee)--definitely not what we intended!
I just ran a test entry through and the problem is fixed. Thanks again!
